A Note from Christi ๐Ÿš€

Hey there you AMAZING UNICORN! ๐Ÿฆ„

Welcome to our Partnership-Themed Newsletter!

While many of our readers are small businesses with teams, we have no shortage of solopreneurs as well. And Iโ€™m confident that regardless of the size of your business, none of us can truly do this alone. Business can be hard and overwhelming, but itโ€™s through community and partnerships that entrepreneurs often find support, strategic growth, and so much more.

This year alone has been a huge lesson in partnerships for me and us at Automation on a Mission. For example, did you know that 50% of this newsletter is written each month by Amber our Operations and Member Support extraordinaire, or that Glenda one of our behind the scenes geniuses makes nearly all our web pages? It is a dream come true to build a business that is built on partnerships, but for us, we take it one step further continuously seeking channels to forge partnerships that support you.

This newsletter is devoted to the power of partnerships, packed with an awesome resource to implement partnerships for lead generation, highlights of an amazing power partner, and other tips you donโ€™t want to miss.

Tip of the week ๐Ÿ’ก

Bundles & Partnerships

One of my favorite additions that we've added to our outreach and lead generation strategies in 2024 is partnerships. When this concept was first introduced to me I was immediately intrigued by a way of reaching new audiences without giving Mark Zuckerberg any more of my money.

Now partnerships come in all different shapes and sizes but in the context of what I'm sharing here, these partnerships are ones that you establish with another business that does complimentary work to yours and serves the same audience with the means of supporting each others business in a tangible way while providing value to their list of subscribers. For Automation on a Mission, our partnerships usually center around sharing a resource or blog, but it can also be things like guest writing, being a guest on a podcast etc. The goal is to create win/win experiences.

Another strategy is participating in bundles, where businesses collaborate around a theme. You provide a paid product or service for free for a limited time, and all participants share the bundle via email and social channels.

The results of these partnerships much depends on the amount of work you put into them, but for us, the impact has been nothing short of amazing! For example, I have set up approximately 20+ partnerships, which bring new experiences and ideas to you all as my readers and community. But my email list itself has doubled in size.

Last week was our most recent bundle , for example, brought in 55 new relationships and the one before that 326!

So, if you're looking for ways to grow your reach, provide more value, and expand your network partnerships are a no brainer!

A Treasure Trove of Partners for You! ๐Ÿ’ฌ

I love batching content so Iโ€™m ready to hit the ground running when itโ€™s time to get productive. As we explore partnerships, you donโ€™t want to spend hours researching each week. Getting into a rhythm will increase your productivity. Today, Iโ€™m sharing not one but two tools I love!

First up is Podchaser. Does the idea of guest speaking on podcasts interest you for potential partnerhsips? Podchaser is a fantastic tool for discovering and connecting with podcast hosts and guests. Whether you want to be featured as a guest or are looking to collaborate with someone in your industry, Podchaser offers a robust directory that helps you find the perfect fit for your audience.

Next, check out Lettergrowth, a platform that allows you to connect with newsletter creators. Itโ€™s an excellent way to pitch collaborations, guest writing opportunities, or simply get your content shared with a new and relevant audience.

Both tools are great for expanding your network and finding like-minded partners!

Create Your Own Partnership Outreach Program

Because partnerships have been such a great success, I want to share with you the process I use to outreach partners.

Now as much as I love automation, there are many parts of this that take time and some manual effort, but in the end it pays off.

How to Deal with an Overwhelming Workload Guide
  • Take a look at this toolkit where I go through the steps you can take to research industries and businesses that may be a great fit. Then move over to starting your actual outreach with a four email series that promotes conversation and win/win experiences! All of this and more are in this toolkit!

You never know where your next partnership may take you!

Keeping it Real ๐Ÿ’œ

Howdy Y'all! It's Amber here with a huge life update! After living in beautiful, fast-paced Dallas, Texas for 6 years, my love and life partner Dominique and I are off to bigger and better thing in Kansas City, Missouri. (Go ahead and sing, I know you thought of the song lol)

Saying goodbye was really hard though. We both have lots of friends in Dallas and so so many memories there too. It is the city where we met and fell in love, where we bunkered down during the pandemic, where we battled homelessness and a hard to swallow health diagnosis, and where we said goodbye to loved ones way too soon. But as we all know, life moves on and now so are we!

For me, the hardest goodbye of all was my dear old car Nedavia who had been by my side through it all. She is now retired, and I bet she is driving the golden streets of Heaven with the best transmission money could buy.

We are now settled in, surrounded by lots of Dominique's family, good food, better doctors, gorgeous trees, and a new, fresh beginning!

Thank you to everyone who was so patient with me during this move!

Amber and Dom

We hope you are enjoying fall and preparing for an amazing end of the year! Best wishes on an amazing fourth quarter!

As always stay awesome,
